New York’s Staten Island. According to officials, two people were arrested in Rosebank on Tuesday night after an armed robbery was reported.
According to emergency broadcasts and a representative for the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, the incident happened at approximately 8 p.m. on Fletcher Street, between Virginia and St. Mary’s avenues.
Several blocks from the scene of the original incident, the two suspects engaged cops in a foot pursuit that resulted in their apprehension and further arrests, according to police. According to the report, police were responding to a 911 call about a heist that had a firearm being exhibited.
According to authorities, no injuries were recorded, and no other information was provided at the time.
Two NYPD Emergency Service Unit cars and police officers were parked on the small residential street.
