Staten Island bowling: 49th New Year Singles Classic to commence Saturday

Two qualifying teams will start the 49th New Year Singles Classic on Saturday at Rab’s Country Lanes at 1 and 2:30 p.m.

The event’s well-liked opening qualifier, which grants paid participants a second entry for free, is nearly sold out, according to tournament director Jim Elliott.
