New York’s Staten Island. The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) is expected to close streets without prior notice next week due to road repair scheduled for many Staten Island routes.
Monday, January 13 through Friday, January 17 is when the work will be done. There is no work planned for the weekend.
Delays can also affect drivers. The DOT said there will be no milling or paving.
Call the Staten Island DOT office at 212-839-2395 or the city’s central complaint hotline at 311 to file a complaint or report a pothole or other street defect.
