New York’s Staten Island. This week’s feature, The Athletes We (The Parents) Love, focuses on Giavanna Palumbo, a nine-year-old point guard for St. Charles basketball.
Just a year and a half ago, Palumbo, a resident of Prince’s Bay, started playing basketball. You would never be able to know while you watched her play. In her game versus St. Patrick’s on Saturday, January 4, 2025, Giavanna dominated the court on both the offensive and defensive ends.
