Apologetic Staten Island gas station bandit, 56, now headed to prison

New York’s Staten Island. An ex-con is going to prison for committing a violent robbery at a Great Kills petrol station last year.

In relation to the Sept. 19 incident, Joseph Perilli, 56, of Trantor Place in Elm Park, entered a guilty plea to third-degree robbery in the state Supreme Court, St. George, last week.
