NYPD: Man, 75, suffers multiple broken bones in crash; 2 cars badly damaged on S.I.

New York’s Staten Island. According to authorities, a vehicle collided with a light post on Hylan Boulevard in Great Kills, causing a 75-year-old man to sustain many fractured bones.

At approximately 9:24 p.m. on Sunday, a 40-year-old male who had minor injuries managed to flee, although he declined medical assistance at the scene at the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Fieldway Avenue, according to a spokesperson for the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.
