New York’s Staten Island — Every year brings with it a fresh set of goals, plans, and projects aimed at improving New York.

The 2025 State of the State address, which Governor Kathy Hochul delivered on Tuesday, is a yearly roadmap for New York’s goals. This year’s goals include improving affordability, promoting climate goals, developing housing, and strengthening public safety.
