Eagles fan fired, banned from Philly games after video shows him calling Packers fan the c-word

The Eagles supporter who harassed a Packers fan during Sunday’s wild-card game has been fired.

In a dismissal statement issued on Tuesday, his former employer, BCT Partners, said they had made the decision to terminate the employee.

At Lincoln Financial Field, the perpetrator was seen on camera angrily abusing a woman wearing Packers clothing while she was supporting Green Bay. Alexander Basara, the woman’s fiancĂ©, recorded the exchange and uploaded it on X.

Both fans have been identified by the Eagles, and the aggressor will not be allowed to attend any more Eagles games, according to NFL reporter Derrick Gunn. As part of Philadelphia’s apologies, the Packers fan will receive Green Bay clothing.

Additional information from BCT Partners:

We have made the decision to fire the employee in accordance with our company’s core principles, which include respect, dignity, and inclusivity. The company’s statement stated that this separation is effective immediately. We vehemently denounce the behavior of our former employee. This person’s behavior and words were abhorrent, repulsive, intolerable, and revolting; they have no place in our society or at work. Such behavior is not consistent with our values or identity.

However, in keeping with our principles, we can denounce the acts without denouncing the person. Nobody should be remembered for what they did on their worst day. We have shown kindness and assistance to our former worker.
