Staten Island Community Boards: Concerns over athletic field lights among topics to be discussed

New York’s Staten Island. Staten Island Community Boards will examine a number of issues this week, including a community complaint regarding the athletic field lights at Curtis High School.

Community Board 1

This week, Community Board 1 will hold a number of committee meetings, including the New Brighton/St. George/Tompkinsville Area Committee’s virtual meeting on Tuesday, January 21 at 6:30 p.m.

Suzanne Dvells, co-chair of the St. George Civic Association’s Special Committee, will speak at the meeting about what the St. George neighbors of Curtis High School believe to be a persistent issue.

Locals have voiced their displeasure over the lights from the sports field flashing into their windows at night.
