The National Weather Service issued an updated lake effect snow warning for Wyoming, Cattaraugus, and Erie counties on Monday at 10:10 p.m., which will remain in place until Wednesday at 10 a.m.
According to the weather service, “Lake effect snow can cause weather variations, ranging from dry conditions a few miles away to bands of locally heavy snow with significantly reduced visibility.” Be ready for sudden changes in road conditions, visibility, and weather.
United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
