CNN will debut the three-part series on Saturday, January 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Additionally, the show will still air on Saturdays at 9 p.m.
From Kobe’s early years in Italy to his rise to fame as an athlete, Kobe: The Making of a Legend tells his tale and offers a close-up look at his goals as a father and a storyteller after leaving the NBA.
In addition to revealing the conflicts and complications behind Kobe’s Black Mamba mentality, the series will include in-depth interviews with his former coaches, teammates, family members, and friends. The interviews will also show how he attacked his predecessors with passion and purpose, without fear or doubt, and without giving up.
