NYPD: Individual sought for questioning in connection to stabbing in NYC subway

The NYPD is requesting the public’s help in identifying and tracking down a person who is wanted in relation to a Bronx assault.

Police were notified that a 25-year-old man was on a northbound 5 train on Sunday at around 11 a.m. when he was allegedly stabbed several times throughout his body by an unidentified person.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition by EMS after the person left the scene in an unidentified direction, according to a statement issued by the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.

The person wanted for questioning was shown in a surveillance photo issued by the NYPD.
