New York’s Staten Island — Fans of Starbucks, take note: Now you may order your coffee and make your own sugar and cream. The coffee giant is implementing some significant adjustments that will return the Starbucks experience to its foundation starting this week.
According to the company’s website, Starbucks is dedicated to building a warm, neighborhood coffee shop where people congregate and where the best coffee, made by our talented baristas, is served. We are reintroducing and adding additional features to our cafes across the United States and Canada as of January 27.
Among those facilities is the condiment bar, which was reinstated after being removed during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Once more, coffee consumers can add as much sweetness as they like and top their beverage with their preferred milk or creamer.
Additionally, Starbucks announced the return of free refills. Any beverage you order here will be served in a glass, coffee mug, or a sanitized personal cup that you bring from home. Free refills of hot or iced tea or coffee are available to patrons during their visit to the cafe.
Both adjustments are a part of Starbucks’ efforts to revive the coffee shop atmosphere that has waned in recent years.
The business issued a new code of conduct earlier this month that forbids patrons who are not paying from using the bathrooms. According to the online policy, additional changes include prohibitions on discrimination, vaping, consuming alcohol outside, and panhandling.
The firm stated on its website that it has also received feedback from clients and partners (workers) that having access to cozy seating and a hygienic, secure setting is essential to returning to the Starbucks they are familiar with. In order to make it clear that our facilities are for use by partners and consumers, we will be putting in place a Coffeehouse Code of Conduct.
