Miranda Lambert reflects on relationship with Staten Islander, Brendan McLoughlin, as couple marks 6th wedding anniversary

As Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary, the 41-year-old singer posted a cute picture on Instagram to commemorate the couple’s important milestone.

According to People.com, the country singer shared a recent image of the amazing couple grinning from ear to ear along with a black-and-white throwback picture from their wedding in which she and McLoughlin, 33, were seen kissing while she was wearing a gown and sitting on a horse.

six years. She captioned the photos, “I’ll love you forever, @brendanjmcloughlin.”

In order to promote their Interstate Gospel CD, Lambert and her band, the Pistol Annies, went to the set of Good Morning America, where she met McLoughlin, a former Staten Island NYPD detective.

In all honesty, Lambert’s bandmate Angaleena Presley was the first to notice him. She told Lambert about the attractive police officer and mentioned that her team had given McLoughlin a ticket to her performance.

As a result, the three-time Grammy-winning country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist—who first gained notoriety as a finalist on the 2003 season of USA Network’s Nashville Star—suggested that they maintain their relationship the old-fashioned way, through letters, much like pen pals. Although he chuckled, McLoughlin concurred.

Additionally, despite being from different sections of the nation—McLoughlin is from Staten Island, and Lambert is from a small Texas town—the couple claims they discovered they had a lot in common after getting to know one another.

When the pair exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Nashville on January 26, 2019, they had only been dating for a few months. On Valentine’s Day of the same year, they would subsequently make their marriage public.
