NY weather update: Wind advisory for New York until Wednesday night

The National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory for Madison, Oneida, Otsego, Delaware, and Sullivan counties on Wednesday at 12:08 p.m., which was in force until 9 p.m.

According to the meteorological service, “West winds from 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.”

“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. According to the weather service, there may be a few power outages and tree branches that are blown down. Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful. Protect outdoor items.
