New York’s Staten Island. The NYPD is requesting the public’s help in tracking down a person who is wanted for interrogation in relation to the alleged rape of a child in Port Richmond.
Police were notified that on Wednesday, January 22, at around 5:40 a.m., inside a home near Richmond Terrace and Sharpe Avenue, a person reportedly sexually assaulted a five-year-old child before escaping on foot.
According to authorities, FDNY/EMS arrived and took the victim to a nearby hospital for assessment.
According to a statement issued by the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, Dominique Giles is the person being sought in connection with this event.
Giles is a thirty-year-old man with brown eyes, a medium complexion, and a braided haircut. According to authorities, he weighs 180 pounds, is around 6 feet tall, and was last seen sporting a black hooded jacket.
