NY weather: Special weather statement for New York until Friday evening

At 4:34 p.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for Greene, Columbia, and Ulster counties that would last until 8 p.m.

“As temperatures approach freezing tonight evening, some locations may get brief bursts of freezing rain and/or ice mixed in. The majority of roadways will only be damp, but some untreated roads and walkways might have a thin layer of ice, which might make travel locally slick. “Be careful if you’re going anywhere tonight,” the weather agency advises.

United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
