Whether you’re an experienced curler or a curious beginner, Sky Chalet was a lot of fun when I went there with my two 21-year-old children. In keeping with our recent run of single-digit temperatures, the evening was a pleasant mix of sports, leisure, and wintertime moods.
Guests may glide across the ice while taking in views of the city below during this 50-minute curling experience, which gives them their own private curling lane. It’s an opportunity to partake in this traditional winter sport without ever leaving New York City.

With every curling lane reservation, guests have complete access to Edge’s magnificent sky deck, where they may explore the indoor and outdoor spaces, including the stunning glass floor and angled glass walls that make the observation area on the 100th level one of the most gorgeous places in the city.
The iconic skyline steps that ascend from the 100th to the 101st level are located in the outdoor area, which is 65 feet from the structure and offers breathtaking city views.
The perfect place for a post-game celebration or just taking in the views in a winter-inspired atmosphere, Sky Chalet offers warm seating, specialty beverages, and seasonal snacks in addition to curling lanes.
Hot cocoa, various sodas, and substantial appetizers like a hot dog platter or a chicken and waffle plate are among the pre-packaged food and drink options available to guests.
City Climb, the tallest external building climb in the world, is located on Edge for those looking for an even bigger rush. Leaning out from an outdoor platform, visitors can scale the exterior of the 1,200-foot skyscraper, providing them with unparalleled, heart-pounding vistas of the city.

There are three curling lanes available for rent at Sky Chalet; packages start at $99 for two persons, $199 for four, and $399 for eight. After the curling session, each reservation gets access to the Edge sky deck, making it a memorable experience.
