An upstate New York Lottery player has won $5 million in a scratch-off game.
The winner of the top prize in the New York Lottery’s Xtreme Money scratch-off game is Michelle Ward of Pittsburgh. Kinney Drugs, located at 1588 Military Turnpike in Plattsburgh, is where the winning was bought.
After the necessary withholdings, Ward chose to receive a $2,311,050 one-time lump sum payout, officials said.
One $5,000,000 top prize was still up for grabs in the Xtreme Money game as of this writing.
By downloading the Game Report from nylottery.ny.gov, players can find out the current status of any scratch-off game in the New York Lottery.
