Man sought for questioning in connection with lunchbox robbery on Staten Island

New York’s Staten Island. The NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person who has been sought for interrogation in relation to a robbery that occurred in Tompkinsville last month.

According to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, on January 28 at around 8 a.m., an unidentified guy allegedly approached a 26-year-old male victim on Victory Boulevard close to Bay Street and punched him in the face.

According to the police statement, the unnamed individual then allegedly used force to take the victim’s lunchbox out of his hands and left the scene on an S46 MTA bus. Although the victim’s face was bruised, he refused on-scene medical assistance.
