CONCERNING ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema idea, which was established in Austin, Texas, in 1997 as a mom-and-pop theater with a single screen, is renowned for honoring cinema as an art form.

Each of the 35 Alamo theaters located in 25 major U.S. cities is renowned for its selection of independent films, classics, international films, documentaries, and more.

With more than 10 million patrons a year, the dine-in chain—which shows more than simply the newest Hollywood blockbusters—is now ranked as the seventh largest theater chain in North America.

Every theater has a unique lobby installation or photo op theme. For example, the Brooklyn theater is dedicated to King Kong, and the Manhattan theater has a gigantic Stay-Puft marshmallow guy in the lobby. The Staten Island site, which debuted in July 2022, pays homage to vintage kung fu movies.

Easily accessible from all areas of Staten Island, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is located along Hylan Boulevard, a busy commercial thoroughfare that sees about 50,000 motorists every day. From Brooklyn, it is accessible by car, bus, or ferry; from New Jersey, it is accessible by automobile.
