On Staten Island, the orchestra presents live performances of both historical and contemporary music.

Young students who wish to pursue a career in music are also drawn to the educational innovations offered by the RCO.

At Project Hospitality’s Poor People’s Dinner on December 2, 2024, at 2:09 p.m., over 500 people consumed soup in simple paper cups.

On December 10, 2024, at 11:18 a.m., Al Lambert will perform with the new Tunnel to Towers Community Chorus at the Hilton to kick off the Christmas season.

RCO musicians have mentored students in after-school programs that culminate in Side-By-Side concerts with the students and the Orchestra at high schools and middle schools in New York City.

Along with Carnegie Hall and the Guggenheim Museum, they have also been asked to perform at Fairfield University, the Museum of Natural History, Washington Square Park, Asbury Park, and other locations in the tri-state area.
