On Wednesday, December 4, the inaugural Pop Culture Jeopardy!, in which 81 teams of three compete for the $300,000 top prize and ultimate bragging rights, debuted. Three new episodes will be released every week for the 40-episode season.
According to the Amazon Prime website, the brand show will take a new approach to the traditional quiz show’s answer and question format, but this time it’s dotted with the excitement of pop culture. It’s hosted by Colin Jost, a comedian and writer from Staten Island who has worked as a staff writer for NBC’s Saturday Night Live.
Let’s take a quick peek.
