NYPD: Woman, 87, fatally stabbed in Dongan Hills; 1 person questioned

New York’s Staten Island. On Thursday evening, an 87-year-old woman was discovered fatally stabbed at her Dongan Hills residence.

A statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information stated that Laxmiben Khristi was stabbed in the chest and taken by emergency medical personnel to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze, where she subsequently passed away.
