Staten Island Community Boards: Here’s what’s happening this week

New York’s Staten Island. This week, two of the three Community Boards on Staten Island will have full board sessions.

Additionally, at a Community Board 3 committee meeting, city representatives will provide an explanation of a prospective Annadale sewer project.

Below is a summary of the agenda items.

Community Board 1

The complete board of Community Board 1 will meet on Tuesday, December 10 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, located at 347 Davis Ave., West Brighton.

The agenda will include committee reports and a review of both new and old business.

Community Board 2

There aren’t any meetings for Community Board 2 this week.

Community Board 3

The whole board will convene at the Our Lady Help of Christians auditorium, located at 23 Summit St., Tottenville, on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The entire board will vote on any motions that are voted on in committee in addition to regular board business.

Additionally, the Parks and Environmental Committee will meet and have a public hearing at 1243 Woodrow Road, Woodrow, on Thursday, December 12 at 6:30 p.m.

Updates on the Halpin Avenue Sewer Project, which includes Halpin Avenue and a few other Annadale streets, will be given during the meeting by members of the city’s Department of Environmental Protection and the New York City Department of Design and Construction.
