ALTOONA, PA. After a quick-thinking McDonald’s employee in Pennsylvania alerted authorities to a customer who was discovered with a gun, mask, and notes connecting him to the ambush, police apprehended a suspect Monday in the heinous Manhattan death of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO.
A difficult but quick-moving inquiry that had captured the public’s attention in the five days following the shooting that rocked the health insurance industry came to an abrupt halt when the fortuitous sighting at the Altoona restaurant occurred.
