Hot chocolate, food and a 48-foot Staten Island-grown spruce will headline Port Richmond tree lighting spectacular

New York’s Staten Island. At the Port Richmond bakery, conversation shifted to the neighborhood’s impending tree lighting pageant while hot sweet breads cooled on the counter at Cafe Con Pan. It is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 14 at 415 Port Richmond Ave.

Pancakes from the Flipside Griddle trailer and unusual tacos from the yellow-on-black La Cucina Tropical Food Truck will be available for purchase from two mobile food units located just outside the show area.
