New York’s Staten Island. Fine Fare has opened in Dongan Hills, offering a large selection of culturally specialized ingredients and an extensive produce section. Co-owner Bejad Musleh talked about the specifics of the market, which is open for business right now but has a grand opening scheduled for December 20. The market is located at 1689 Richmond Road.
We’ll provide another dining option for the Staten Island community, for which we are quite thankful,” Musleh added. He hopes that neighbors from Todt Hill, Dongan Hills, and the adjacent neighborhoods will be impacted by the store.
The meat department and shelves at Fine Fare are presently being developed. A new butcher shop with both halal and non-halal cuts will open soon.
“We’ll grind our own meats and make our own mozzarella,” Musleh declared. Without a doubt, we will serve the neighborhood.
Rice balls, grilled chicken cutlets, potato croquettes, roasted peppers, oreganata veggies, and a variety of cold cuts are currently available in a 40-foot section of the deli area.
Polish spices, Japanese Kewpie mayo, hundreds of spicy sauce types, local honey, herbal teas, Middle Eastern dairy products, and more are available for the home cook who wants to play Iron Chef. Fine Fare provides frozen dinners and their own prepared meals for parents who are always on the go or who are not very good in the kitchen.
The store’s vegetables is refrigerated in more than 70 square feet. Fruit bowls, salad kits, and organic options are all part of the collection.
In addition to New York City, Musleh has constructed markets in Long Island City, Greenpoint, and Chelsea.
