In relation to a violent attempted robbery that took place in Brooklyn last week, the NYPD is requesting the public’s help in identifying a person who is wanted for interrogation.
Police were notified that at around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, an unidentified person approached a female victim, age 58, in front of 1117 McDonald Ave. near the B10 bus stop.
According to a statement issued by the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, the person allegedly tried to take the victim’s goods by force after pushing her to the ground and repeatedly punching her in the face.
According to police, the person fled on foot down McDonald Avenue toward Avenue H, while the victim was taken by EMS to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.
Authorities describe the wanted person as a guy with a medium complexion and a thin physique. When last seen, he was dressed in gray slacks, black sneakers, and a black hooded jacket.
The wanted person’s surveillance photo was made public by the NYPD.
