10 most expensive homes sold on the South Shore, Dec. 2-8

One of the most costly residential real estate sales on the South Shore in the last week was a $985,000 house on Staten Island.

Over the course of the last week, 36 residential real estate sales with an average price of $656,667 were reported in the region. $440 was the average cost per square foot.

Even though the property may have sold earlier, the values in the list below relate to real estate sales for which the title was recorded during the week of December 2.
