6 sought for questioning in connection to robbery in Manhattan, police say

In relation to a heist that took place in Midtown Manhattan earlier this month, the NYPD is requesting the public’s help in identifying six people who are wanted for interrogation.

Police were notified that on Saturday, January 4, at around 12:45 p.m., six people approached a 36-year-old man in front of 370 Lexington Ave. and hit him in the face, causing pain and bruises, before stealing roughly $6,000 worth of stuff.

According to a statement issued by the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, the victim was not hospitalized despite suffering minor injuries, and the unidentified persons left the scene in an unknown direction.

According to the description, the first person is a man dressed in dark blue jeans, a black jacket, and white sneakers. The second person is described as a man dressed in gray sweatpants, a black winter hat, and a green and black jacket. Police have described the third person as wearing white headphones and a black jacket.

The fourth person is described as a man dressed in gray sweatpants, a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, and a black jacket. The fifth person is described as a man with sunglasses, black shoes, black pants, and a black jacket. According to authorities, the sixth person is a man dressed in blue jeans, a tan hooded sweatshirt, and a black vest.

The NYPD made surveillance photos of the people they were looking for public.
