This Spirit-class beauty boasts an impressive 85,619 gross tons, more than doubling the passenger capacity of its boutique cruise line counterpart, Margaritaville at Sea Paradise. With accommodation for up to 2,114 guests at double occupancy or 2,680 travelers at full capacity, the Margaritaville at Sea Islander promises an intimate yet lively journey through the seas.
The ship’s arrival in Fort Lauderdale marks the beginning of a thrilling journey, with eager anticipation building for her official debut and naming ceremony. Notably, Savannah Buffett, daughter of the legendary Jimmy Buffett, will serve as the ship’s godmother, infusing the vessel with blessings of smooth sailing and serenity.
Embarking on her maiden voyage on Friday, June 14, the Margaritaville at Sea Islander will usher in a new era for the cruise line, offering departures from Port Tampa Bay. Guests can anticipate immersive 4- and 5-night Western Caribbean itineraries featuring enchanting destinations such as Cozumel, Key West, and Progreso.
