Brother’s Care 16th annual Turkey Giveaway: 200 birds donated on Staten Island with a multitude of good feelings

New York’s Staten Island. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Brothers Care Inc. held its 16th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey and Sides Giveaway at PS 18 on Monday, lending a helping hand to those in need.

Several hundred community members attended the event at the West Brighton school. There were two hundred turkeys and sides served.

Emerging Island Staten Miss Black Staten Island Ingenue Malani Showe, Miss Black Staten Island Azzariya h Palin, and rapper Chey, the daughter of Wu Tang Clan Method Man, were present at the giveaway.

Council member Kamillah Hanks, the Teddy Atlas Foundation, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Hope Home Care, Loc Shop, Fran-Mar Collision, Key Food, Stradford Funeral Home, Metro Plus, NYCID, The Staten Island Foundation, Beyond Educational Enrichment, PS 18, and UAU were all recognized by Brothers Care Inc. for their contributions.

On November 25, 2024, at 3:31 p.m., the rock band Mercury Rising will kick off the holiday season in Fort Wadsworth and New Dorp.
