New York’s Staten Island. During Friday morning rush hour, a power pole was knocked down close to the Staten Island Expressway in Grasmere, prompting authorities to hurry to the scene.
Mosel Avenue, close to Clove Road, is where the crash was reported at around 7 a.m.
At the scene, a dark-colored Infiniti SUV has its front and rear windshields broken and its airbags activated.
In the center of the road is a brown utility pole.
There is caution tape all over the vehicle.
Among the emergency personnel on the site are the FDNY and NYPD.
