Commuter alert: Crash causes delays on Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge on Wednesday

STATETEN ISLAND N.Y. Early in the Wednesday morning rush hour, there are reports of delays on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.

The MTA has issued a warning stating that one lane on the Brooklyn-bound upper level has been closed due to a two-vehicle incident.

After 6 a.m., the alert was issued.

511 NY reports that traffic is backing up on the Staten Island Expressway to at least Manor Road.
