STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. During the Tuesday morning rush hour, traffic on the Brooklyn-bound Staten Island Expressway is causing delays on the Goethals Bridge.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey issued a traffic jam advisory after 6:30 a.m.
511 NY reports that traffic on the Staten Island Expressway is jammed to at least Woolley Avenue eastbound.
Earlier, 511 NY reported that during the emergency response near Victory Boulevard on the West Shore Expressway, all lanes were temporarily stopped.
According to 511 NY, lanes were stopped beginning at approximately 5:44 a.m.
On the motorway, traffic was backed up as far as Bloomingdale Road.
