Commuter alert: Delays on Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge Brooklyn bound due to crash

STATETEN ISLAND N.Y. Early in the Tuesday morning rush hour, there are reports of delays on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.

The MTA has issued an alert stating that the HOV lane is blocked on the upper level of the Brooklyn bound span.

According to the MTA, the emergency response started at approximately 5:30 a.m.

On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, traffic is backed up on the Brooklyn-bound Staten Island Expressway and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge due to a collision. (Source: 511 NY.)Thanks to 511 NY
