Costco confirms major food court change: This is the product getting bumped

New York’s Staten Island — Pepsi will no longer be available at the warehouse food court as Costco is officially moving its fountain soda service to only Coca-Cola products.

The CEO of the retail behemoth, Ron Vachris, said at a recent corporate shareholder meeting that they would be switching back to Coca-Cola for its food court fountain operations this summer.

After a shareholder inquired about the change, which had been rumored beforehand, the announcement was made.

Since 2013, the firm has offered Pepsi goods in its food courts, and the beverage brand has been a major component of the store’s renowned $1.50 hot dog combo.

However, CNN reports that in 2024, Costco CFO Gary Millerchip stated that the $1.50 hot dog price was safe.
