Customers are being advised by Costco to discard or return eggs that have been recalled due to possible organism contamination.
The 24-count Kirkland-Signature Organic Pasture Raised Eggs that were sold between November 22 and November 27 are among the recalled products. Handsome Brook Farms is the manufacturer of the eggs.
According to Costco, the eggs may contain salmonella, a bacteria that may cause serious and occasionally deadly infections in small children, the elderly, and other people with compromised immune systems. This is why the recall was made.
Customers are being advised by Costco to verify the date-time stamp on the side of the carton for their eggs. You should return the eggs you bought to your neighborhood Costco for a complete refund if they contain any of the following three details.
Among the recalled goods are:
-
A use-by date of Jan. 5, 2025
-
P1363
-
327
It is not recommended to consume the eggs or use them for baking or cooking. Customers can reach Handsome Brook Farms by phone at 888-877-7221 or by email at [email protected] if they have any questions or concerns.
