That must have stung.
While fans are glad it was not a life-threatening situation, country music artist Riley Green posted the news on TikTok after landing in the hospital this week while hunting.
The 36-year-old country musician disclosed on January 6 that he had to visit the emergency department after stepping on a nail while hunting.
On the video, he said, “I stepped on a nail [and] impaled my foot at the emergency room.” He was sitting in the waiting area with a partner sitting close by, wearing a boot on his good foot.
As Green sat on a gurney, waiting for medical care, the two men appeared to be in a good mood. He even joked, laughing, “When I took my boot off, corn fell all over the floor.” The woman entered and inquired about the origin of all the crops. I got it from my boot. You also don’t want me to remove this other one. These are real-world issues.
In a follow-up video posted on Green’s Instagram Stories and subsequently published on social media, his pal asked a medic when the Different Round Here artist could resume hunting, which is one of his frequent pastimes. In an attempt to resume his favorite activity, hunting, the celebrity responded, “Just hit us with it straight, doc.”
The nurse answered, “Oh, you can go hunting right back.”
