Deadline to apply for NYC public safety jobs extended: 4 jobs, 1 test

With only one exam that opens the door to numerous job titles in the public safety industry, the Public Safety Exam can help you discover new career prospects.

A minimum score of 70% is required to pass the Public Safety Exam, which consists of a single multiple-choice exam.

Your results are taken into consideration for the following public safety jobs if you meet the requirements: Special Officer, Traffic Enforcement Agent, Sanitation Enforcement Agent, and School Safety Agent.

These positions pay between $32,968 and $36,955 per year.

The deadline for applications has been moved to Tuesday, December 31, 2024.

Register for the exam at NYC.GOV/OASYS and read more about it at https://www.nyc.gov/assets/dcas/downloads/pdf/noes/20255144000.pdf.
