Dump truck tipped over, caught by wires on major Staten Island road

New York’s Staten Island. As first responders attempted to upright a dump truck in Travis on Tuesday morning, a section of Victory Boulevard was temporarily blocked off to traffic.

Late Tuesday morning, a dump truck was overturned on its side at Victory Boulevard and Signs Road.

The truck was seen at the site leaning on its passenger side, its raised bed snagging on tree limbs and cables.

Traffic on Travis Avenue stalled as drivers tried to navigate Victory Boulevard, which was restricted to traffic due to the emergency response.

Whether anyone was hurt is unknown at this point.
