Ex-NYPD officer from Staten Island convicted of sex offenses involving underage boys

New York’s Staten Island. A Brooklyn Federal Court jury on Friday found a former NYPD youth coordination officer on Staten Island guilty on all six counts of pursuing and, in certain cases, engaging in sexual contact with youths.

According to a news statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of New York, Christopher Terranova, 34, of Eltingville, was found guilty of sexually exploiting, attempting to sexually exploit, and luring and coercing three 15-year-old boys and a 12-year-old child.
