FDNY: 2 firefighters injured battling fire in snow, frigid temps on Staten Island

New York’s Staten Island. Early on Monday morning, the FDNY stated that two firemen were slightly hurt while fighting a fire at a Tottenville commercial building in below-freezing temperatures and snow.

According to an FDNY/EMs spokesperson, the incident was reported at 2:18 a.m. at 5275 Arthur Kill Road between Tracy Avenue and Wood Avenue.

According to the FDNY spokesman, the fire was contained in less than an hour, at 3:07 a.m., after about 12 units and 60 fire and EMS personnel responded.
