New York’s Staten Island. On Wednesday morning, a fire at Ft. Wadsworth injured a firefighter and two others.
The citizens and the firefighter were taken to Ocean Breeze’s Staten Island University Hospital. According to an FDNY/EMS spokesperson, everyone is expected to recover from their injuries.
A house on Home Lane next to Tompkins Avenue has been severely damaged by the fire.
According to emergency radio communications, the fire started at around two in the morning and swiftly spread to the first and second floors of the house.
