New York’s Staten Island. While responding to a fire at a Stapleton home on Sunday morning, a fireman sustained minor injuries.
According to an FDNY representative, the all-hands fire was reported at approximately 1:40 a.m. at 171 Broad St., close to Cedar Street, and was responded to by 12 units, 60 firemen, and emergency medical services.
According to the spokeswoman, the wounded firefighter was sent to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze.
The FDNY representative stated that the cause of the fire is still being investigated and that it was put out at approximately 3:01 a.m.
