New York’s Staten Island. Following an incident involving a catch basin in New Dorp on Tuesday morning, a man was transported to the hospital.
According to an FDNY spokeswoman, the incident happened at roughly 10:55 a.m. at the intersection of Cedar Grove and New Dorp Lane.
According to the FDNY spokesperson, the patient was taken to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze after firefighters freed him.
The FDNY was unable to provide the patient’s condition right away.
But according to one local worker, there wasn’t much to see during the incident.
One employee added, “He didn’t fall in.” His foot was hit by the partially exposed top.
