STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — With some assistance from local authorities, federal immigration officials carried out a number of raids in and around the five boroughs on Tuesday.
Mayor Eric Adams said the city assisted the federal government in an early-morning raid that resulted in the arrest of an alleged gang leader wanted on a Colorado warrant, however the majority of the information has come from social media posts from President Donald Trump’s administration.
