According to an FDNY representative, the fire was discovered at 3:22 p.m. at 2028 Richmond Terrace close to Park Avenue. A one-story, 20-by-40-foot commercial building was the site of the fire.
The FDNY gave a laundromat as the address.
106 FDNY and EMS personnel were called to the area, along with 25 FDNY units.
The FDNY said there were no reported injuries.
A hose line was visible in the street, and a ladder belonging to the Fire Department was stretched onto the building’s top.
