Life goes by quite quickly.
According to TMZ, a flood ruined Ellen DeGeneres’ and her wife Portia De Rossi’s home in England a few weeks after they moved there from the United States.
According to the account, the couple’s new home in the English Cotswolds was right in the heart of a massive storm that devastated the area with gusts of 80 mph and floodwaters.
The research claims that a large portion of the flooding was caused by the River Thames overflowing its banks.
Five feet of floodwaters flooded the 43-acre property, and it’s unclear how much damage was done, according to a Daily Mail story.
According to TMZ, last year’s floods also affected DeGeneres’ previous Montecito, California property.
Days after Donald Trump was elected, Ellen and Portia decided to leave America forever in order to get the hell out, according to the publication.
